India has all kind of cuisines you have mentioned and believe me the all the dishes are well prepared.
Foreign cuisines can be expensive in India and restricted to big cities.Italian restaurants are very expensive and the common man can never afford it.But I have seen people cook Pasta etc in their homes.I can tell you there is no proper Chinese restaurant in India. Most so called "Chinese" restaurants serve Chinese dishes cooked Indian way, because original Chinese cuisine will never appeal to Indians. They also employ some North-East Indian people to fool customers into believing that it is really a "Chinese restaurant. But I still really love the food even though it's not really Chinese.
People do eat other cuisines in the cities. You'll find authentic ones as well as Indianized versions of these cuisines.
The nan, palak, paneer type of food is predominantly in the north and western regions of India, while rice and spicier curries, coconut based foods are consumed in the east as well as Southern regions of India.

In the big cities you find all kind of international food, like in every city around the world. In the country side most people eat traditional food. Its a question of money if you can afford expensive import food
On a daily basis it would be nan , palak .. Other cuisines are expensive and I would say the ratio of chinese/indian restaurants in my city is 1:10 ..So ..
There is still a strong British cultural influence there in area.
