who invented linguini?!

Question: Who invented linguini?
My friend said it was edmund linguini and hes related but i think its bs.

Answers:

Linguine means "little tongues" in Italian, where it is a plural of the feminine linguina. A thinner version of linguine is called linguettine.

Look in your telephone book and see if there are any listings for people with the surname "Littletongue", and if you don't find any, then your friend deserves a much meaner practical joke...
