yes even the people in Texas eat Rattle snake

I do not know - "cultures" but
the meat would be classified as Exotic along with alligator

I have heard of people in Texas going on rattle snake hunts
and there are some recipes for chili from snakes

but there will always be a religious fear of snakes
and then it follows that god forbid eating such low life - the human judgment - until starving set in
despite the fact the meat is delicious

maybe Floridians should make a sport of their Python infestation I am sure it would be a best seller

Generally speaking, most references to eating snakes are involving venomous snakes.
Most cultures do not eat snakes however a few are known to do so. There are only 7 recognized pythons and I am fairly certain of several that they are not eaten normally.
So concluding from the research I've done: No cultures eat pythons. Rattlesnakes, Habu, and Cobra, but not python.

The bushmen in Nambia eat snakes if thats there only meal. Phythons are found mostly in Africa so you can say some tribes do eat snakes as food for dinner.
