Hákarl outside of Iceland?!

Question:

Hákarl outside of Iceland?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find Hákarl outside of Iceland, and perhaps any legal issues that might arise from it's transportation, possession, et cetera.

Answers:
There is a similar question on Google answers, the result of which was "no luck". I don't see why there would be legal issues, it's probably just lack of demand outside Iceland for something that extreme.

It might not be easy to find in the area your in, a close substitute is Swedish Lukefisk, I found a UK supplier, it may be the fact that the Americans are not into Rotten Shark meat, I have seen and smelt it, but only had a small amount.

I searched under the words Icelandic Hakarl and came up with a number of hits, try it yourself on Yahoo or on Google. I would also do a search on YellowPages.com and see if there are any Scandinavian specialty store in your area, maybe they have it frozen or in tins.
