I'm a Filipino but I'm not a fan of Balut. I've tried it before but I never eat the chick inside the 'balut'. I just sip a li'l of the balut soup inside and just eat the yolk except the chick. <*-*>
I have... and I don't think it is disgusting/wrong... well, that depends if you are from the Philippines or not. The taste kinda grows on you.. if you now what i mean.. and it's not that bad, it tastes just like a hardboiled egg only with a little "juice" inside with an unborn duckling.. but it really depends on the person's taste buds to decide.. there's nothing to lose in trying it right?
Could you please describe Balut; I guess I have never tried it because I don't know what it is!
