Question:

What can I do with TUNA & PASTA to make 'full-feeling' meal???

No recipes with tomatoes/tomato sauce in them, please. I'm allergic.

Answers:
Tuna, mayo and sweetcorn (can also add finely chopped onion, to your taste) is nice on cold pasta. I usually serve this when doing a barbeque.

Try tuna and noodle casserole.

If its tinned tuna, boil the pasta, add some fresh basil, fry of some peppers, add them, caper, olives and mix in the tuna.

If its a tuna steak then cook it for about two minutes a side on a v hot pan in a little olive oil, mix the pasta with basil, rocket, and all of the good stuff above.

tuna spirals. go on to google and try to get a recipe

Just make a casserole. Mix the tuna and pasta and make a cheese sauce to go on top. Bake all together.

Add barley to the tuna/noodle mix. Make a tuna casserole and add barley to it. Mmm good. nutritious and heavy, will really help fill you up.

Do a cold tuna pasta salad, with a little mayo, black olives and a little green and red pepper cut small. Season to taste. Substantial and yummy!

tuna fish cakes (tuna, potato, fry in small amount of oil) plain pasta with a cheese sauce?!!!

when it gets warmed enough add some frozen peas and carrots, add extra pasta too, it's very filling. Add some garlic bread or rolls on the side.

Deep fry them.

get some zuccini, squash, red and yellow peppers, olives, seasonings(thyme, garlic, etc.) extra virgin olive oil. saute the veggies with the oil toss in the tuna and mix the whole thing with cooked pasta

This will sound a little odd but is actually quite nice.
Finely dice half a raw onion, cook and drain pasta, add tuna, raw onion, mayonaisse and a splash of vinegar (salt and pepper to taste) and mix up. Serve with bread and butter.

One of the easiest is your basic mac&cheese tuna casserol.

Make a batch of mac and cheese, Stir in a can of draned tuna (and some chopped onion if you like onion), top with seasoned bread crumbs, and bake.

Cook the pasta. Mix the cooked pasta with a tin of tuna, a tin of sweetcorn and a tin of mushroom soup. Put some grated cheese on the top and pop in the oven to brown off.

Yummy!

tuna casserole. Also tuna alfredo, both are very good and i have made many times. Everyone I serve this too wants to know how i make it. Serve with some rolls and either peas or a salad on the side and there you go! If you want my recipes just e-mail me and i will be happy to tell you how I make mine.

I always have cheese and tuna pasta with a white sauce. Really easy to make just add your cheese and tuna together melt on the hob or in microwave. White sauce make with flour and milk heat in microwave or on hob. Mix all the ingredients together then pop in the oven for about 15/20 minutes. Serve with garlic bread and salad.

White sauce recipe you can find on line.

you could make a tuna pasta casserole...cook the pasta and drain, make a cheese sauce like your going to make mac and cheese mix then add drained tuna mix well (you can add to this some cream of mushroom soup to) or you can make a tuna pasta veg casserole...add your cooked pasta and drained tuna, drain a can of mixed veg and a can of cream of celery, place all into a casserole dish cover the top with crushed potato chips or saltine crackers bake until golden brown....

really quick and easy one! open a tin of cream of mushroom soup, mix it with the tuna and pasta and put it in a casserole dish, throw it in the oven, take it out half an hour later and eat it - yummy!

This'll only work if you use good sea salt, and good olive oil.
Chop up an onion, smaller the better, slowly fry (to soften instead of to color) and add herbs, basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary, or just use that italian seasoning. Mix in with the tuna and add boiled pasta, bit more oil and a good amount of salt. Permesan (fresh is better) on the top, beautiful.

Tuna and pasta alone are quite filling as a meal! One of my favourites is Tuna Napolitana (or something like that). Its a packet mix, and you make it with milk.

My favourite way to eat it is to make it as per instructions, and bake it with some grated cheddar on top.

Tuna
Cooked Noodles
Frozen Peas Thawed (not cooked)
Celery
Onion
Mayo

mix & Chill

Enjoy!

Add cheese and some bread crumbs to the top, then broil the serving dish lightly to brown the mixture and make it a bit crunchy and attractive. Parsley adds a bit of color too, and some more nutrition.

Cheese and bread crumbs add bulk and protein and will make the dish "sit" longer in your stomach, taking longer to absorb. Kids and guys usually love cheese.

We make something we call tuna slop which does not sound great but tastes good and is really cheap!!

All you need is a tin of tuna, pasta and a tin of Cambells Condensed mushroom soup. Cook pasta mix in tuna and add soup - bake in oven for 1/2 hour and voila

If you are feeling flush then chop and onion and add some breadcrumbs to the top!!!

helped get us through university!!

Also try beans on toast with melted cheese and a slice of ham!! Cheap easy and fulfilling

Since it's summer, try a cold tuna salad. Boil a pound of corkscrew noodles. Use a can of tuna, two hard boiled eggs, some thawed frozen peas, lots of real mayonaise, a tablespoon of white vinegar, a teaspoon of brown mustard, a bit of salt (don't skimp), fresh ground pepper, a little cayenne pepper, some green onions, and you've got yourself a meal. The eggs in this help to give you that 'full' feeling so this will stick with you for a while.

Tuna Noodle Casserole

1 can Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroon soup
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp chopped piniento (optional)
1 cup frozen peas
2 cans tuna, drained and flaked
2 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles
2 tbsp dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp butter or margarine

MIX soup, milk, pimiento, peas, tuna, and noodles in 1 1/2 qt casserole dish. bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot. Stir.

MIX bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle on top. Bake 5 more minutes.

To help make the recipe more filling, I usually add an extra half a can of tuna to the casserole. A small salad with fresh greens before the meal helps also. Another good idea is to serve the casserole with lots of steamed veggies as a side dish. The veggies are filling and good for you. Enjoy!

My mom used to make tuna fish and noodles. Cook the pasta, add a can of cream of mushroom soup and some milk, add the tuna, and heat it up. You could also add some veggie like peas to it to make it a more complete dish.

Cook up the pasta and make a cheese sauce or white sauce if preferred. Mix in the tuna and some lightly fried onions. Out into an oven dish and crush up some cheese and onion or plain crisps, and sprinkle thickly over the top with some pepper if you like. Bake on about gas 5 til the top goes light brown and crunchy. My family loves this simple but delicious meal.
