I need a spicy/warm BBQ sauce?!

Question:

I need a spicy/warm BBQ sauce?

I prefer a thick and hearty sauce, i have tried the store bought sauces and i have found them lacking in flavor and consistency, can anyone help?

Answers:
I know there are lots of very good barbecue sauces that you can make from scratch but as for me, if I can take the easy way out i will being pressed for time and I like things done in a hurry. My moto is to take whatever help i can get and dress it up so it looks like you spent hours making but you didnt. People rave about my baked beans, my chili, potato salad and it doesnt take me long to make at all. so....as to your barbecue sauce : first i would buy a bottle of my favorite barbecue sauce, kraft is my favorite along with red bull. Next add some brown sugar to it, a little pepper, and to give it a little kick of spice at some hot sauce and yellow mustard. Mix all well and heat it up in the microwave or even on your stove top. Very good and easy to make

I buy the bottled sauces and spice them up. Try Open Pit BBQ sauce it really is awesome. What I do is place the bottled sauce in a pot and warm it up...I add brown sugar, seasoning salt, hot sauce, lemon juice and garlic powder to taste and simmer. It always turns out great!

Go to allrecipes.com. They have a ton of sauces listed. You can read all the ratings and descriptions and find exactly what you want. If find the ratings and comments to be very accurate. Give it a try.

I love Famous Daves' BBQ sauces. There's a variety of flavors to choose from. I hope you have a Famous Daves or a grocery that carries their sauces!

Just add crushed red peppers to any jar sauce and brown sugar or honey for sweetening. To kick it up a notch higher add a dash or two of cayenne pepper. Adding a bit of cider vinegar will as some tangy zest to it.
