I need some opinions on if this sounds good or not.?!

Question:

I need some opinions on if this sounds good or not.?

okay, I need everyone's opinon on a recipe I'm trying to come up with. here it is. I was thinking of taking some left over fried chicken, remove the chicken from the bone into small pieces putting it in a casserole dish, then put mashed potatos over the chicken and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the potatos then baking it until everything warms up and the cheese is melted on top. it's sort of like a sheppards pie, only I'm using fried chicken pieces instead of beef. so anyway, does this sound good or no?

Answers:
You will need something to bind the chicken and to keep it moist. Try a can of cream of chicken soup.

You could also put corn in between the chicken and potato layers.

It sounds great - just come up with something to keep the chicken moist and burn free.

I love baked mashed potatoes over chicken. I'd add some corn to the mix, too, but that's just a combo I like. Yum!

Yes the KFC here makes them, Its sorta like haveing the entire meal in one bowl covered with gravy YUM!

Sounds good but, here is some things that I would add. I would mix the chicken with cream of mushroom soup and add sauted onions, garlic, corn, peas, and carrots. Then layer with the potatoes and cheese.

ohhhhh that sounds really good!!!!!!
(make sure you let the potatoes brown a little bit)

KFC has a similar meal. Must be good.

This does sound good....I always add the left over gravy, corn, and stuffing to the mix also....layer potatoes first mixed with the gravy, corn, and whatever other veggies you have left, the top with the stuffing....

yeah..its making me hungry.

I think it sounds good. It needs gravy but I would actually think of it more as a side dish with like a turkey. Then you could make turkey gravy to put on top. The best kind of gravy.

I would like it, I like casseroles and I have a tendency to mix my food up on my plate anyway.
I would throw some veggies in. like frozen mixed vegetables.
thats just me. but if you cooked that for me I would definitely eat it.

Whatever u do, DONT put gravy on it too, thats just disgusting. Either cheese or gravy, dont do both they just dont GO well together!

It sounds yummbo, put a little gravy or something to keep it moist...even sour cream

it sounds a bit dry, don't over bake as the chicken can dry out as it is all ready cooked if need be brown the pie under a grill for that colour and the crisp finish the mash will leave, add a little chicken stock some veg carrots Swede leek red onion, even a bit of spicy sausage as well for a little bit of texture and kick to the dish,
