Many of the Vegetarian restaurants offer North Indian fare too. but believe me, to get original experience visit canteens/mess/bc etc located near Colleges like Dayanda Sagar College at Kumar swamy layout and similar college where North Indians study

Tandoor has stood the test of time and many a palate. It remains one of the city’s top restaurants and even after all these years retains its fabulous service and quality. Everything on the menu is divine and you will have a hard time choosing. The dal makhni is a must, as is the lassi.

British Raj meets Mughal opulence in the décor and certainly the food. Step in and find yourself on a platform or in a train compartment, the two dining areas here. The starters are excellent and the names of main courses on the menu will have you intrigued. The food is fabulous, and so is the experience.

Angeethi needs no introduction to the city’s populace. Its lunch buffet spread is so famous that the queue spills over into the hotel lobby. Situated on the rooftop of The Museum Inn, Angeethi has a dhaba-style air about it. Old filmi posters and quaint roadside signs hand-painted on the walls define the décor. Not to be missed are mutton roghan josh and biriyani.

For an authentic dhaba experience head to Koramangala. Chandini Chowk will have you smitten by its kitschy charm the minute you walk in. Bright sequined dupattas hang from the ceiling alongside clay mudkas. Old posters of heroines add colour to the mud walls and Bollywood hits and remixes make the ambience vibrant. The butter chicken is delectable as is the gajar ka halwa.

So brace yourself for a rich meal and a taste of all that the North has to offer.

south Bangalore -- kuchh bhi its in jai nagar near 4th block
central Bangalore- sukh sagar it near national market but its veg only
east bangalore - Barbe q its 100 ft road indira nagar and kormangala kormagala u find many more
north bangalore - name i dont remember but its near Baptist hospital bellari road.
