on the restaurant story game how do you get food such as bagel and strawberry shortcake?!

You have to go to design >> appliance tab
Then you purchase an oven.
There you can back items such as bagels, cupcakes, pizza, etc.

The story starts this morning and I am tired and desire a bagel,I get in my car and go to the bagel/coffee shop and get a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and latter I will have a strawberry shortcake surprise for dinner. That would be how my story starts here today in my world.
