You can serve mango chutney with the following meat entrees: Grilled shrimp, chicken or pork (skewers are great). Whole fish or fillets (salmon, halibut, tuna).

Depending on how your mango chutney is made... some are made sweet like a marmalade and some are made spice and tangy like the ones in India...
the ones which are sweet and tangy can be use for sea food like your scallops it also can be served seperately on a monkey dish.
the tangy ones are used to accompany indian foods like the curries, mostly dal which is lentil preparation.... the best combination is when you eat it with dal, rice, papadums and mango chutney.
Use it as a side. When you have Indian food it compliments the meal. Put a little bit in a dish, or a blob on the plate, and eat a little with it. It's especially good with the bread!
i like them with poppadoms or on the side of any Indian meal.
