Why some people eat boiled egg which is cooled in fridge (thanda ubla anda )..........?!

Question: Why some people eat boiled egg which is cooled in fridge (thanda ubla anda )..........?
what could be the reason ...during my france visit in many places they gave cold boiled egg .
When i asked them they said they prefer cold food because it doesnt causes acidity .
Is it true cold food (fridged) prevents acidity while hot food is the reason of acidity.

Answers:

The French like everything cold, even their soup.

Acidity is not a reason for refrigerating food. There is an area, known in the food service area, and by others, as the temperature danger zone. The temperature where food is most likely to become more rapidly overtaken by bacteria. The temperatures are between 40 degrees and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the most likely reason for storing cooked food in a refrigerator.

Raw egg is in a liquid form and its looks are such that many people find it nauseating to eat raw liquid. and any omelette's made from egg destroys the nutrients of egg. Hence best alternative is to boil it and eat it.
Now question of eating freeze cold boiled egg is preference of individual. Actually boiled hot or boiled cold does not make much difference. In fact Acidity is created not by hot foods, but acidity is caused by the quality of food that irritates the walls of stomach and burns them. Foods and liquids and spices that cause acidity are : Meat, fish, eggs, pepper, red chilly, fried items, and the Liquor, alcohol in any form.
Actually if one wants to avoid acidity, one has to change the food habits as well as thinking habits, because thoughts too are one form of food, and very subtle one. It not only burns the body, but mind and spirit too are becoming Toxic.
Hence know well that those who can't avoid all these are likely to suffer the Acidity. and best antidote to acidity is Papaya fruit.

Cold boiled eggs are delicious! Especially with a ham salad for example! They're lovely warm and cold! I'm presuming it was a hard boiled egg and not a soft boiled egg, cause I don't think I'd eat a cold soft boiled egg! And I've never heard of cold food preventing acidity..don't think acidity has anythingt to do with temperature! So i think that's a load of nonsence!

I live in Wales and sometimes eat cold boiled eggs. :)

There are many factors for stomach acidity, like spicy food, excessive eating, and so on. But never heard a doctor about Garam ubla Anda Or Thanda Ubla Anda.

Here, during winter season, people sell boil eggs by shouting. "Garma Garam Andaay". LOL

i think it's more of keeping it good, in europe people put a lot of stuff into the fridge to keep it eatable, it doesn't have anything to do with the acidity

i duno but i eat them cold from the fridge because.. i think if you have pasta salad or something having warm eggs just wierd

i don't know about eggs but eating warm food makes it easy for digestion....also tests better!!

I don't get it...
