What are some ANCIENT Egyptian pastries?!

Question: What are some ANCIENT Egyptian pastries?
Hey i am going to do a project on Ancient Egypt. We can do anything in our project that has to do with Ancient Egypt and i want to do some Ancient Egyptian pastries or desserts, but i am trying to find something that a 6th grade class will like. I wanted to do anything that i can make something for, like if I did Cleopatra i could bring in her favorite food, or i could just do my topic on Egyptian foods, but what ever it is i can't seem to find any Ancient Egyptian pastries that originated from Ancient Egypt!

They really didn't eat a lot of sweets and pastries. If they did eat desserts they would include dates, grapes, figs, and honey with bread or rice. What I would probably do is try to find some dried dates and substitute them for raisins in a standard granola bar recipe.

Many of the desserts that were popular in Ancient Egypt are still popular today. Stuff like Baklawa and Konafah.

I don't get it...
