i have no idea! it's always been my fave cola. i love it!
Because Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola went nuts and marketed the heck out of their products, all the while acquiring other soft drink companies and coming up with new products. Personally, I like RC better than Coke or Pepsi, but it's not easy to find in Detroit...
I think diet RC is one of my favorite diet drinks of all..its great.
Probably because they don't spend the big bucks on advertising. I quite like it.
