Is my chinese food from 2 days ago okay to eat?!

Question: Is my chinese food from 2 days ago okay to eat?
I got some chinese food 2 days ago from a take-away (chicken in satay sauce and egg fried rice) when i got home with it i was feeling sick due to pregnancy, so its been in the fridge ever since, is it ok to eat now if i re-heat it?

Answers:

It'd be a dern shame if you didn't!

It really depends on your fridge. If you have a good one that keeps things really cold, you should have no problem. Just give it a little sniff before reheating. If you notice any unpleasant smells, just throw it away. Personally, I've waited as long as 4 days to reheat my chinese food and it's still been good.Anything more than 4 days would scare me though.

If you weren't pregnant, I'd say try it, but you are so better safe than sorry, I'd dump it.
I've definitely eaten chinese food that was 2 days old, but it was from restaurant we frequent and I was not pregnant. I always discard it after 2 days.

Left over rice causes more food poisoning than all other foods put together - the poison comes from a fungus which salt does not kill. The chicken in satay sauce is probably fine

Yes, its so full of salt, it acts like a preservative

Yup is fine
