Where can I find the tortillas that are used in real mexican food places?!

Question: Where can I find the tortillas that are used in real mexican food places?
I want to find the tortillas that they use to make burritos in the Mexican food places. Not the crappy flour tortillas you buy at the super market. The warm chewy authentic kind... Any help would be much appreciated :)

Answers:

go to chilis or el chicos mexican restaurant (or any real mexican restaurant) and ask if they will sell you some fresh tortillas..

Also.. you could just make your own.. its not hard.. its basically flour, salt.. a bit of oil, butter, or lard.. any sort of fat you prefer.. and a dab of water.. you just work it together, roll out extremely thin, and bake real quickly in a skillet.. takes just a few mintues..
and many cultures have the same bread, its just differently named..
in Mexico its tortilla,, india calls it chapati or roti.. in middle east, its called flat bread (not the pitta, so as not to confuse you, pita has yeast)..

all the recipes are the same basically..
just google a flour tortilla recipe.. .. you can make your own.. stack them, freeze them and use them as you want.. (impress your friends)

mexico.. or make your own

also flour tortillas are not nice.
as soon as you start liking corn tortillas, you'll never go back to the flour type.

Most supermarkets now carry authentic mexican flour and corn tortillas.

Try a Mexican supermarket.

Just about any mexican store

buy the ingerdients and google it..maybe?
