Yah...I did it. so what. ....but, is it weird that I just put that on the hot dog? It was a hot dog fresh off the grill, i put it on a bun put a little shredded cheese on it and then salsa...yes i own ketchup but salsa sounded good.
Is this weird?

First of all, let me say that I am not a salsa fan, but you make that sound so good. You are supposed to put whatever you want on a hot dog, there is no right or wrong way to do your food, that is how new things are created.

Not really, because salsa is basically tomato, like ketchup and onions, which are really common on hot dogs. Lots of places make them with different toppings.

i dont think its wierd. some people have different tastes than other people. Wayyy different tastes... but thats okay. just enjoy and have fun creating more "wierd" dishes! Its always good when its fun! lol

Here's what I do
Put salsa, grated chesse and broken up chips. It tastes super awesome.
No way man. I believe their are some hotdog recipes that put salsa in it, well at least to the side with chips but its the same thing. But there is a nacho dog that has like salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. I LOOVE SALSA!!!!
well, if you like it, i can't really tell you not to do it. i like odd things to. putting salsa on it was like putting chili on it right? how do you know what you like if you don't try it. how does the world know what people like if they don't try it. so eat it up and enjoy!
No if ya watch food network Bobby Flay does that too. He entered a contest with Pinks hot dogs and Pinks has a three hot dog burrito with salsa re-fried beans and cheese. YUMMY.
