Pasta recipe?!

Question:

Pasta recipe?

I have already cooked pasta and I always put butter on it or just red sauce on it and its getting kinda old...I was wondering if you have a creamy white sauce recipe kinda like an alfredo sauce...please make it simple ...and make sure the recipe has everyday items in it that is normally in my refrigerator...I am only 14 and I am using this as a snack so please don't make the recipe like a 4 course meal...thank you!

Answers:
OK, the easiest way to make a fake Alfredo sauce is to melt a little butter or margarine with about two times the amount of either sour cream or cream cheese than the butter in the microwave on defrost for about 30 seconds. Keep your eye on it, stir until melted. Microwave a little more if you need to, 1o seconds at a time. Let em know if you don't have a microwave, I will tell you another simple way.Add some Parmesan and you are ready to go!

Basic Alfredo sauce

Alfredo Sauce:
1 pint heavy cream
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
Freshly cracked black pepper
Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish

To prepare alfredo sauce: Heat heavy cream over low-medium heat in a deep saute pan. Add butter and whisk gently to melt. Sprinkle in cheese and stir to incorporate. Season with freshly cracked black pepper. In a large stockpot, cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Quickly drain the pasta and add it to the saute pan, gently toss the noodles to coat in the alfredo. Transfer pasta to a warm serving bowl. Top with more grated cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

You can make a white sauce and add any kind of cheese to make a sauce.My favorite is;
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
Put butter and flour in a skillet and cook for 1 min then add milk and whisk(add enough milk to make the sauce the right consistancy).
When the sauce is thickened, add parmesan cheese or any kind of cheese,or mix any kind of cheeses. Add the cheese sauce to the pasta and enjoy!!!

Why don't you go to foodnetwork.com and search pasta recipes. They have tons of great recipes!

mince some garlic, heat up some olive oil briefly cook garlic....add salt pepper and red pepper flakes, oregano and toss pasta in this....it's easy and very good......

Just add parmesan cheese on top of the butter with a lil salt & pepper. For a sauce add some heavy cream or half & half and heat.

one of the easiest ways to make fake alfredo sauce is get some cream base. it is a dry mix that you just add water to and mix to make a white sauce. heat on stove top and add parmesan cheese and garlic to mixture. do not allow it to boil. stir mixture and put over pasta. not the best, but one of the easiest. or you can go to the store and buy the premade alfredo sauce like ragu or any other jarred sauce. much easier. you can doctor it up with some extra garlic and parmesan while it heats. another good topping for pasta is just some melted butter, salt and pepper. you could make pesto to mix with pasta....2 cups fresh basil, 1/3 cup parmesan, pinch of salt and pepper, 1 garlic clove, and 1/4 cup olive oil drizzled in slowly. put all ingredients in the food processor except olive oil. mix to a paste consistency, and slowly add olive oil to the mix. continue to run the processor until thoroughly blended together. very good on pasta. you could take sauted veggies and olive oil and mix into pasta also. many different things to do with everyday ingredients in the fridge. good eats.
