Answers:
starbucks coffee is heaven sent. so who cares. esp for women, it does wonders!!!

I do not know, but I don't drink it because it is way too expensive. Refuse to pay that much for a cup of coffee

Being that any coffee is pretty bad for you, with all of the acidity and caffeine, and starbucks being such a strong coffee, I would imagine its bad bad bad!

I drink a grande vanilla latte everyday for the past, I don't even know how long. So far I've had no heath problems :)

No

Some of them are high in calories, but you can ask to use skim milk and skip the whip. Too much caffiene can also be bad for you but you can ask for de-caf or half-caf. Everything in moderation! They have a nutrition guide, just ask to see it.

its not any worse than other brands of coffee (yep sorry all it is is name brand coffee) but all of the sugar and fat that they squeeze into it probably isnt the best thing for your health or waist line

come on people! the amount of coffee is the same, the only difference is the amount of water, well and the quality of the coffee, that's it!!

Ciao!!

Coffee, like anything, is bad in excess. In moderation though, if you don't have medical issues that would cause you to avoid it, a cup or two a day isn't that terrible. Drip coffee is the worst, just because it has more acids and oils that hurt your digestive system. Espresso drinks are a better alternative.

As far as Starbucks goes, their coffee is usually a strong dark roast. Although it tastes stronger, that is actually due to the amount of carbon that is released during the roasting process.

Fact - The darker the roast, the less caffeine. Lighter roasts don't taste as strong, but actually contain more caffeine than the burnt stuff.

Biggest concern with Starbucks is that it seems that they are committed to closing independent coffee shops. The best coffee ever can come from a local shop if they know what they are doing, lots more love and creativity in their drinks than the corporate giant. Plus, your $$$ is staying in the community and supporting locals instead of being shipped out to Starbucks HQ. They are consistant though in their delivery and quality, happy to find one in unfamiliar territory if the local coffee sucks (or is nonexistent).

Starbucks is the most horrible coffee I ever tasted, only the drug crowd or the recreational drug people would drink it so it will snap them awake to be able to do some semblance of work. Sorry that's my opinion.

I don't think so. Just drink your latte before the milk spoils.

It could cause you to gain or keep on weight. I see ppl that drink Starbucks daily or the majority of the days in a week and they wonder why they gain weight (and it has to do w/ the rest of their diet as well, but a 20 oz frappucino everyday definately does not do a body good). Your body can become dependent on the caffeine and you may start to think you need it- you'll get used to how your body functions on caffeine and think when you don't have it your dragging your butt behind you. The sugar does this as well and it's really not good for your body becuase in cases like this the body isn't getting what it should naturally have for energy when you need it and end up turning to starbucks mocas. So when you're at your low and you keep using one of these the body will process the temporary high and in the meantime store up the excess toxins as fatty tissue from all the extra ingredients in coffee. Same thing happens w/ energy drinks. These things are better kept as treats.
