Eating a live octopus ?!
I'm planning on bringing a live octopus for lunch how do I keep it alive till lunch?

Keeping it alive in a box filled with ICE is the standard procedure in all fish cutting establishments.
Two things:
1) eating live octopus is not uncommon in parts of Asia; however, it is also not uncommon that the suckers on the tentacles latch to the inside of your throat and cause suffocation. you could die.
2) most of the body of the octopus doesn't have much to eat. and there is no reason to eat it alive, it doesn't taste any better.
Eating a live octopus! Gross, to say the least!
