Chlada Fakya - African Fruit Salad
Ingredients:Servings:

1/4 melon, cubed
2 apples, cubed
2 bananas, sliced
5 oranges, peeled, seeded and chopped
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1Mix all the ingredients. 2Chill before serving. 3Top with fresh whipped cream, optional.
If you are open to use vegetables instead of fruit you can make Chicken Couscous. A very popular dish in Morocco....which is in Africa.
It's a pretty easy dish....lots of veggies (carrots, celery, tomatoes, onion, chickpeas, etc) with chicken cooked in a sauce and served over couscous.
