I'll pick one up tomorrow after work(i work at a grocery store). The olives needed to be chopped up so i guess making them look horrible didn't matter this time

You've already answered your question. Can you make a mad dash to a grocery or hardware store to get a pitter? I've never tried without one, and I think you'd probably butcher the poor little olive. At best you might get 60% of the flesh.

Go get a pitter.
