As another poster mentions, this is likely due to the spices, which may be difficult to digest for those who are not used to eating so much spice. Another factor may be the use of ghee, or clarified butter, which is often used in Indian cooking. If the clarified butter is not properly stored, it can cause stomach problems.

Try eating just 1 or 2 dishes (i.e.- rice and vegetable). Indian food is served like a buffet. It is delicious, but too much variety of food in one sitting can overwhelm the digestive system if you're not accustomed to it.

High in fat and fiber (depending upon what you eat).

The spices really shouldn't make a difference, it's the fat that helps foods slide through your system.

Or... you could just be eating at a bad restaurant.

The spices contained in the food make this an issue with many people , even those who eat it regularly .

Need to try bit by bit..spicy and hot stomach don't accept in one attempt..same anything new need to familiarise first..

All food make you go to the bathroom. Your tummy can't handle all the different spices.

Because your tummy is not used to the blend of spices used in cooking

sometimes it's can be because your body is still adjusting.

Over eating ?

its spicy
