Question: What hers/spices go best with fish?

Can anyone please tell what herbs or spices go best with fish dishes??

Tuna: Sesame seeds, ginger, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil
Salmon: Dill, thyme, smoked paprika
Tilapia: lemon pepper, Old Bay, Blackening spices, lemon butter
Mahi Mahi: Old Bay, almond encrusted....



All green masalas. plus fresh ginger, garlic, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, red chilli powder, tamarind pulp, fresh lime, fresh coriander, green chllies;
If planning to make a curry, fresh coconut blended with some onion, or coconut milk.
Shallow fried fish is always better than deep fried one., use rice flour, or semolina for cover, before frying.



You can use Basil & Bay leaves with shrimp & lobster.
Cayenne, Cumin, Curry powder, or Paprika, add a little colour & heat.
Celery seed is good in chowders.
Dill or Parsley are favourites with salmon or shellfish.
Savory, Sesame, Tarragon, Thyme, or Tumeric, all go with fish.



butter lemon and oregano or basil. steam the fish and add the buttered lemon sauce after then top off with basil or oregano



Paprika or lemon pepper both go well with fish.



I like lemon and butter. Why ruin the taste of good fish?



I like garlic, lemon and/or butter. any combo is great!
