Question: How to make good [Red] Sofrito?

I know you can buy it in a jar from Goya, but I want to make some fresh, homemade Sofrito. When I try to look it up on Google/Yahoo, all I see mostly is recipes for the green kind

If u have the recipe for the green I would just replace the green for the red.I don't think it will change the flavor. Its just the color. Good luck with this.
