I am from Canada and eat both Weetibix and Weetibix Flakes, Kelloggs Corn Flakes.

I use what your refer to as Muscovado sugar, it is less refined and low in carbs and has a nice molassey taste.

Porridge Oats or barley, even Rye flakes cooked like Oatmeal, the Irish and Scottish Steel cut is the best, it has the full germ and is healtier.

I ama former chef and anything whole grain is better and low in carbs, just check the boxes/packets nutrients guide.
