to go with chicken with Patak's mild curry sauce over white rice..

Answers:

You can make parata. Just get some flour add some water and roll it into a ball. Then using a rolling pin or a pringles can flatten it out into a pan sized circle. Heat a pan without oil and place the dough on the heated pan, watch as the dough opens up and an air space in the middle forms. Once it puffs up flip it over and repeat the process, soon you will have an original Indian side dish which they eat with rice and curry. Enjoy!

Hi: I myself like GITS brand Sambhar soup mixed with whatever vegetables you like added to it. I use about 1/2 a pack (it makes a lot) along with a tablespoon of tomato paste and a pinch of hing or 1/2 tsp minced garlic for taste. Once cooked, you can add things like potato, green pepper, summer or winter squash and cook. This makes a nice side dish to spoon over rice or have with Indian breads.
