Breakfast in bed?

I want to make my dad breakfast in bed for father's day. Any ideas as to what breakfast foods(recipes) I should make?

Answers:
CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST

INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
2 egg whites
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
dash nutmeg
8 slices French bread, sliced on diagonal

PREPARATION:
In a shallow bowl, whisk egg and egg white until foamy. Whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Have warming drawer heated or heat oven to 200°.
Heat butter in heavy skillet over medium-low heat.

Dip 4 slices of bread in the egg mixture, turning to coat thoroughly. Let excess drip back into bowl.
Place coated bread slices in hot skillet. Cook, turning, until both sides are nicely browned, about 2 minutes each side.

Transfer to a warm plate and keep warm in oven. Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture. To serve, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if desired. Serve with maple syrup.

SCRAMBLED EGGS

Combine 2 eggs with:

1/2 cup cream
salt and pepper (to taste)
ham, cheese, chopped tomato
small amount of parsley

Cook for 2 minutes in microwave, stopping every 30 seconds to stir from the center out, checking to see if done.
Serves 1.

Rice pudding is made with milk, rice, sugar, Cinnamon (optional) over the fire. cook for 20 minutes. don't forget a homemade fathers-day card is most appreciated. You can decorate with real flowers and sent with your favorite perfume.

just make his favorites, eggs are usually pretty easy, whichever way he likes them, toast and oj are pretty basic, just ask your mom what she thinks would be a good idea

Make sure the food you make is "tidy" and won't run all over the place -- this rules out pancakes -- syrup in bed can be a sticky proposition. Coffee, toast (watch out for crumbs and jelly) or some kind of breakfast pastry, scrambled eggs, fruit -- not grapefruit -- too messy. Maybe bacon or sausage. It's best to stick with light, easy-to-prepare food for breakfast in bed.

granola bars

bacon toast eggs cofffee

Here's something hearty that he'll enjoy:
Stuffed French Toast
1 loaf French Bread; 2 eggs, beaten; bulk pork sausage, browned & drained, shredded cheddar cheese.

Cut bread into slices 3" thick. Cut a pocket in each slice--not all the way through. Fill the pockets with sausage & cheese, dip the sandwich in egg, and fry in a greased pan until golden brown on both sides.

You can also fill them with bacon or ham, and vary the cheese. Bacon with Swiss is VERY good.

Phone your nearest Denny's order the meat lovers grand slam to go pick it up very early to get it home before you dad gets up..
Good luck
PS one of the local community services catered a champagne Continental breakfast for valentine's day???
