What dessert goes well with Chili Beans?!

Well since chocolate is out, I'm going to list several things that would go with it. All which can be cooked fairly easily using cake mix or cookie mix.
1. Spice cake with cream cheese icing
2. Strawberry cake with strawberry icing
3. Lemon cake with lemon icing
4. Cheesecake (if he likes it), but make the real thing, the jello no bake isn't that great.
5. Can't go wrong with pie! If you're going for fall dessert: pumpkin/sweet potato pie :), apple, or chess pie.

I love sweets and I think these are very hearty desserts.

Have you ever tried a dump cake? Take two cans of cherry pie filling (or any other pie filling you like) and pour it into a 13x9inch pan or baking dish. Then take a regular size yellow cake mix and sprinkle the dry mix over the pie filling. Finally, melt a stick of butter and drizzle it as evenly as possible over the dry cake mix. Some people cut the butter into small pieces and place it evenly on the dry cake mix as well. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, until golden brown. This is about the easiest dessert I have ever made and it tastes great. You could probably use apple pie filling and a spice cake mix as well.

Flan and you can buy a mix in the pudding section. Get the kind you cook. I think I the used My-T-Fine Brand. You just add milk and stir over medium heat until thickened. You also make vanilla pudding and swirl some caramel topping into if for a more southwest flavor. Of course, just the caramel topping over ice cream and top with whipped cream.

Carrot Cake without the nuts , it taste just as good and it will go with Chilli too at least for me .

I personally hate chilli but I'd say reallllly thick chocolatly cake. The kind you need a glass of milk to wash down.

Vanalla ice cream

Sorbet. It's nice and light and cooling.
