Thai dipping sauces (spicy)?!
I have a friend who has a distant relative who has a Thai family and last year they made this extremely spicey thai dip (1 teaspoon on my burger made it almost impossible to eat)
I don't know a lot about Thai dips but are there any that you think it could be? does one particularly popular sauce that is this spicy stand out from the others?

With more descriptions, I'd probably could answer your question. There are a lot of Thai chilli sauce/dips. Was it homemade with fish sauce and chilli peppers? Was it bought from a store? Come in a bottle? It could be Srichach sauce which is red in color and is pretty hot. Not like your typical red hot sauce...
are you thinking of sriracha, which is paste made of chili peppers. If its homemade it could be anything.
