Quick recipes for "man food"?!

Question:

Quick recipes for "man food"?

My man is coming down to see me soon - I haven't seen him in a long time and I would like to cook for him. Anyone have any suggestions of any quick easy recipes of food that men particularly like? It doesn't have to be healthy or veggie!

The basics;

Of course cold beer for while your grilling everything.

curry rice and chips or a good roast with all the trimmings

If you haven't seen him in awhile then I would not worry about the food. I would get a bucket of chicken with some sides and whatever he likes to drink. I would then spend the rest of my energy and time on making myself look great and enjoying my time with him. If you serve him food wearing the right thing (wink) it wont matter if all you serve him is burned toast.

As an Italian i have to admit i never, i mean ever, heard of "pizza with bacon, spaghetti with beef, or fettuccine Alfredo..."

Sometimes anyway, the easyest the better.. i'd make pasta, short one like the penne, with onion, little tomatoes, and zucchini...
Anything you cook, if it's done with love he'll appreciate i'm shure... good luck..

Fry some mince in a wok/frying pan and then add in whatever takes your fancy.
Personally I like mushrooms and onions with some cauliflower. then add in some tinned tomatoes. You can also add tomato puree if you wish.
Then you can add in any herbs or spices you like. Hot it up with curry and chili powder, I also like plenty of garlic in it.
The beauty is that you can add pretty much whatever you have in.

veal scallopini with gargonzola cream gnocci.

stuffed crust pizza

well it shouldnt matter wat you cook him am sure food is the last thing on his mind lol if i was cooking for my man i would cook chicken ,potatoes and some veggies its quick and easy. have a gud one.

Tandoori tikka masala from the takeaway.

A juicy steak marinated in A1 and a little balsalmic vinegar then grilled on the grill. Thinly slice potatoes, red and green peppers, onions if you like.Ter up a couple pieces of bacon and pUt this in a foil packet and cook on the grill.

Steak (serloin, med rare) with mushroom cram sauce (sediment of steak, extra oil for frying add chopped mushrooms and fry, black pepper/salt a hint of bovril, worcester sauce, cream and reduce), chips/ sautee potatoes, peas (mushy possibly = tin) and onion rings! He will love that for sure, that's hard core man food!! All the best!

How about a Pot Roast.

Easy Pot Roast

pot roast
potatoes-peeled and cut into chunks
baby carrots
canned whole green beans-optional
can of cream of mushroom
lipton onion soup envelope
soup can of water
place roast in roasting pan, place veggies around roast, mix soups and water and pour over roast and veggies. cook for about 1-2 hours, depending on size of roast. 400 degree oven. serve biscuits to sop up gravy... Can also cook this in a crock pot for 4-6 hours on low
