Any healthy food choices?!

Question: Any healthy food choices?
Any awesome vegan or vegitarian meals that taste good? Im trying to eat healthier. I am a vegitarian but the sad thing is, i dont know of any good meals to cook or fast snacks for on the go so i eat junk food. I need help lol

Answers:

This is an interesting question, I am just figuring out how to eat well too, I just tried this recipe and found it easy and healthy, and im not trying to advertise here but I got it from scooby1961 (youtube)

2 bags lentils
I large can salmon
1 medium jar of organic heathy salsa
8-10 cups of water (sorry i can't remember if it was 8 or 10)
mix em all up and cook on low for a couple hours and boom you have a super healthy good tasting meal, then you can freeze it in portion size meals and take them with you to reheat and eat,

or

eat allot of oats,
everymorning i eat 1/3 or 1/2 cup of oats, (double the water) throw it in the microwave for a couple minutes in my bowl, add some strawberries or blueberries, maybe some organic honey and soy milk,
and i am full for at least 2 1/2 hours, thats after pounding 2 large glasses of water, right out of bed.
plus you can eat oats for a couple meals in a day if you want and its perfectly healthy, but you should add some trail mix or nuts to get your healthy fats and proteins, and i always just eat my veggies rawm like cauliflower, brocoli and carrots, i precut everything and put them into tupperware and store in the fridge ready to eat, then i sit and lightly dip into a low fat dressing,

or

perhaps some homemade protein bars, they are fun and easy to make and taste really good and keep you full, a great "meal replacement" if you are on the go. if you search for it on the internet or on answers, or even youtube you will find tonnes of recipes.

Load up your grocery cart with fruits and veggies. Make a day of the week where you cut the veggies up into "to-go" baggies. I also make up baggies of nuts and dried fruits. Hope this helps. Also, Morning Star makes some AWESOME veggie burgers. I love the mozzerella tomato basil. They taste like a pizza burger. :) Try a low sugar peanut butter on your veggies and fruits for some protein. Hard boil some eggs for on the go protein. Toss the yolk though (american heart association only recommends 3 yolks a week.)
