Iam smoking a 6 1/2 pound pork shoulder how long do I need to smoke it for?
Answers:
1 hour per pound at 250 degrees. Please be sure to use a meat thermometer - it's done when the thermometer reads 150 degrees... then wrap it in foil and let it rest for a half an hour (it cooks just a little longer while resting). Your meat will be moist and tender!
RULE OF THUMB IS 1 HOUR PER POUND AT 250 DEGREES
