Im a fan of "Thee Food Network" Magazine and for one of there newest magazines out for the month of April they had a section on "10-Minute Desserts". Now i havent had the chance to make one myself yet but they all look exceptionally delicious. Ill write down a few here but if you have the chance to go out and buy this issue then id highly reccomend it and you cant beat the low price of $3.99. So back on topic:
Icecream Waffle Sandwiches:
Toast frozen waffles, then let cool. Sandwich scoops of icecream between the waffles. Dust with confectioners' sugar, if desired. (Confectioners' sugar is "also known as" powder sugar. A tip, just in case)
Chocolate Cream Pie:
Beat 8 ounces soften cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fluffy. spread in a chocolate cookie crust. Beat one cup of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar until soft peak forms, then spread over the cream cheese layer. Top with shaved chocolate. (for the crust you can buy the pre-made ones at the store. And the shaved chocolate, id reccomend using a vegatable peeler with a bar of chocolate)
Cookies and Cream Parfaits:
Make 2 layers of vanilla pudding, crushed chocolate waffer cookies and whipped cream in a tall glasses. Top each with a cookie.
