What did you make for dinner/supper?!

Question:

What did you make for dinner/supper?

Me? Sautee one medium onion-chopped, 1 med chopped green bell pepper, 1 tbsp pre-chopped garlic in one stick of butter until onions and peppers are soft. Add one can diced tomatoes. 1.5 cups ketchup, 1/4 cup worsteschire sauce, 1/4 cup dark Karo syrup, 1/2 cup brown sugar(not packed), 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp cayenne pepper sauce, stirring as I added each new ingredient.
2lbs frozen meatballs, reduced heat to medium low, covered and let simmer for 30 minutes...enough time to make a pot of rice on the side.
Served the meatballs and sauce over the rice...
Droooool!!! It was so goood!

I know there is a recipes section, but I wanted to ask over here!!! What did YOU do or what are you going to do?

Okay. I meant to ask this in Polls and Surveys, but here it is in recipes. I just feel silly now.
Go ahead. Have a giggle at my expense.

Vivi-There is enough left overs for FOUR DAYS!!! LOL! I am just so used to cooking in mass quantities. Considering it is supposed to be hot the next few days, it will work for either lunch or dinner for my parents and I.
I imagine it would be great to bring for a Pot Luck type dinner!

Since you asked this yesterday, I'll let you know what I had.. we grilled a peppercorn pork roast and fixed some thinly sliced potatoes with a herb and garlic seasoning mix on them. We fry them lightly on a skillet and they are yummy. Rootbeer float for dessert. Tonight we're making crabcakes and some side I'm not sure of yet and a chocolate cake for dessert.

ok, i'll giggle but only if tickled. i haven't made dinner yet so i'm hoping someone might give a good idea.

Hot dogs?

roast beef, roast potatos, roast carrots, sauted white cabbage and pickled red cabbage with sultanas.

that wasnt quite enough so i had some potato bread (irish thing) then some fruit and a creme caramel. also a couple of walnuts.

pizza

For me dinner was over 12 hours ago in New Zealand. I toasted some bread, added some steamed asparagus, topped it with cheese and popped it all under the grill. A really tasty, Saturday meal to have while watching the Rugby. Nice and easy too.

Your dinner sounds fabulous, how many did you feed? I might just try it.

As for Sunday dinner tonight? I'm not sure yet - I'll see how the mood takes me closer to the time. I do have some Aubergines that need to be used, so maybe Aubergine Parmigiana with salad.

i made a phone call LOL but the recipe sounds good i think i will print and try it thanks
