Question:

What is your favorite quick and easy dinner? That is also healthy or filling.?

Need dinner ideas, kids are being very picky. Want to introduce something new.

Answers:
I like grilled chicken breast or herbed mustard broiled / baked chicken & mashed or baked potatoes
*** for the kids you can even do oven fries and they'll be happy
*** loaded baked potatoes - with all kind of veggies & light cheese & sour cream
*** mini burgers & potatoes or rice

Cheeseburgers and fries.

Breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, Sasuage, the works.

Spaghetti and meatballs and spinach or broccoli.

I LOVE YOU!!! I HONESTLY LOVE YOU!!!!!!

broccoli au gratin(its like cheesy rice and they cant taste the broccoli)and lemon pepper chicken breast, grill it or bake it.

Chicken Kebabs.
4 Chicken Breasts.
2T Soy Sauce.
2T Dry White Wine.
1 Clove Garlic Crushed.
1t Fresh Grated Ginger.
Chop chicken into 2cm (?”) cubes. Mix in a bowl with soy, wine garlic and ginger and marinade for 1-2 hours.
Prepare vegetables for kebabs. Mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers (bell), onions, pineapple, baby corn.
Thread onto skewers and cook on the grill.

always use eggs. Eggs are a miracle for lazy people. make an omelette or scrambled eggs with diced veggies and a spoonful or soy sauce. extremely filling and very healthy. just dont use a lot of oil. or as i do, use a nonstick pan. im 16 and i always make this. the more veggies the better it will taste. spinach works great.

Pasta (fettucine) with peas

I just suggested these to someone else but:

Macaroni with Ricotta
(to make this healthier, I use low-fat ricotta & whole wheat pasta...you could also add peas for veggies to this)
1 cup whole wheat pasta
1/4 ricotta (low-fat/whole-fat it tastes EXACTLY the same)
Optional: Grated romano/parmesian cheese
Cook your pasta, in a separate bowl, put your ricotta and put in the microwave for 15 seconds to get the chill out. Mix the two together add salt and pepper to taste...SO good.

OR (I'm not sure how kid friendly this is, but it's worth a shot)
again, with whole wheat pasta, this can be served hot, cold or at room temperature:
cut up some fresh tomatoes (cherry, vine-ripened, whatever you have) garlic and basil, add some extra virgin olive oil and mix it with your pasta. The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
