I was trying to make a custard pie and it burned!?
ok, i was trying to make a custard pie from the jello brand mix. The box said to stir constantly until it comes to a full boil and i thought i did that.....i was stiring on and off for over about an hour and i started thinking something was wrong....it was taking forever to boil. Then brown specs started comming through...so i guess its burned now :( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do i do now!? It doesn't smell burned.... What did i do wrong?

Toss it out and start over. Next time dont use the pudding that you have to cook, use the instant kind, best of luck!!!!!!
The flame was probably on too high...you should have put the heat low.
What's the deal with that one guy that answered? i think u had the fire too high.
