I wanted to buy my live-in girlfriend a pair of thong panties. She said that the only way she would even consider wearing a thong is if I bought two of the exact same womens thongs and I wore one of them to bed first. I think I would be willing to go through with it (sems kinda kinky and fun). I just wanted to see what some of the women out there think about it or if anyone has done anything similar. Also any hints on what brand or material of thong that I should buy? She said I'm on my own in picking them out.

Is your girlfriend a prude? Why would you think that wearing a G-string is kinky? This is 2007, not 1807! I thought all women under the age of 60 had at least one pair of G-strings in their knicker drawer - G- strings look better under certain clothes as there is no visible panty line.
Why don't you go to a department store and ask the shop assistant's advice in the lingerie deparment? Don't be embarassed as many men shop for underwear for their partners. Better still, why don't you go to a sex shop and buy some crotchless knickers and edible knickers and really have some fun.
