Apple skins and vitamins?!

Question:

Apple skins and vitamins?

This is kind of a weird question. I like to eat apple skins (not any type in particular). Does the apple skin contain any vitamin or anything else that the actual apple does not? Thanks to all in advance.

Answers:
I don't know about vitamins but it has fiber and ANTIOXIDANTS. So it is good to eat, especially dark red skins (More antioxidants). However don't eat the skins if its not organic, it could be filled with pesticides and herbicides. Also avoid shiny looking apples, as the skin is filled with wax.
