What is a good recipie for ice cream?

I have a cuisinart ice cream machine. I would like a recipie that does not leave a cream film in your mouth.

A good basic ice cream recipe is

3 cups half-and-half
1 cup heavy cream
8 large egg yolks
9 ounces vanilla sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

if you want to add flavor guess on the portion of the flavor you would like to add for instance carmel or fruits or nuts and add it in.
