Meat eater..if you had to kill your own meals would you..?!

Question:

Meat eater..if you had to kill your own meals would you..?

I would have no problems..I have killed my own dinner before..squirels..and goose..and fish ..

Answers:
No, I wouldn't do that as a matter of choice.

I don't want to skin, gut, etc.
I'm lazy about that.
Now, if it were a matter of survival, I'd do what I had to do to stay alive.

Only if it were a matter of life or death. I gave up keeping fish I caught. Just catch and release.

No, if I had to kill my own meals, I wouldn't be able to eat meat. I know that this answer opens up a whole dialog about the inconsistencies of people who eat meat, but that's the way it is.

That is an excellent question...and to tell the truth I am having a hard time picturing myself killing anything other than fish. I guess I would go vegetarian real quick!

If it is a life death thingy then yes I am prepared.

If its me going into my backyard to kill a bird and eat it...Are you insane?"??

nope-instant vegetarian!

i didn`t get to the top of the food chain by eating lettuce

Yes, I have and would but no longer do. I do see the sport in hunting, but it's just not that important to me. As Sustenance? Yes. As Sport? No.

I no longer NEED to do it But I still fish.
And yes if a NEED should happen I know how to prepare any animal.

fried snake and boiled turtle necks''

I wouldn't be able to do it unless I was absolutely starving.

Throughout history most people were typically rural and raised their own animals so they did their own slaughtering. I suppose you would become desensitized very quickly once it was part of your routine. I'd only kill for sustenance, not fun or sport (could inadvertently hit an old guy in the face!).

While having the convenience of a grocery store or supermarket nearby is nice, if the meat section of these places suddenly disappeared you're darn right I'd be trying to catch my own! Homo Sapiens belongs to the omnivore category of the animal kingdom, meaning our bodies work best when provided with vegetable AND animal proteins and vitamins. While we can live on just one or the other, most doctors who aren't pandering to the latest diet or health food fad are quick to state that we should maintain a balance of both IN MODERATION. That is the key phrase, so don't try to tell me I'm better off without my meat or that I should consider the feelings of creatures who can't indicate for themselves a desire to avoid my table. When you can introduce me to representatives of each "dinner animal" who can then indicate by speech or voluntary writing ability (without assistance or prompting) their intelligence and desire to not be cooked up, only then will I give consideration to a veggie only diet, not one moment before.

no ,i would not kill dem den .i would a vegetarian

sure why not
