What's the best teflon frying pan?!

Question:

What's the best teflon frying pan?

Answers:
None. Invest in a nice hard-anodized pan, or a cast iron pan. These will last much longer, cook more evenly, and hold up better to high heat!

The Best is T-Fal. I have 5 of the frying pan types & Love Them!!
I have been having them for about 10 years & they are still like NEW!!
Invest in these & You won't be Sorry!!
Good Luck!

In my opinion, the one in the trash can. However if you really want Teflon look foe one with a thick bottom. They cost more but cook more evenly. Still I agree that anodized like Caphalon is better and will last much longer. I prefer my well seasoned cast iron.

Teflon is a byproduct of aluminum production. It's toxic and it evaporates at oven temporatures. By the way, stain resistant coatings like Stainguard on carpet is Teflon and it's toxic.

Floride is also a byproduct of aluminum production and it's also toxic.

Teflon pans emit chemicals that can actually kill off pet birds. I dont use them. If it will kill a bird thats just in the same house, whats it doing to me? Here is a link

You would me much better off with a stainless steal pan. (by the way, I found this out the hard way-my little budgie died shortly after I cooked with teflon. I didnt make the connection of course, until I told a vetrinarian friend about my bird dying, and she asked if I cooked with teflon. I thought she was nuts, but when I did some research, I learned it was true.

Give that teflon frying pan to your worst enemy. Im serious, those things will kill you in the long run. Once they get heated up toxic particles are released from the pan into the air. And of coarse the toxins also leech into your food. Or if you really like teflon use only in a well ventilated area. Get a cast Iron pan.
