Whaaaat! Sacrilege. A barbie is like a wok - it becomes seasoned by use and any attempt to clean it would remove the wonderful build up of carbonised food that creates a non stick surface. When you fire it up it should give off the smells of every single thing you have cooked on it in the past. This is definitely a conspiracy by women to get us to permanently ruin our BBQ's so we will have to take them out to eat. Arghhhh!
