Nope dont like it - The beanfeast stuff (non-meat) that you can buy in packets is so much better, u can't tell the difference and atleast you know its not ground up horrible parts of a cow. Im not vegetarian though - just not keen on minced beef

My dog likes it.

shredded cow...mmm looks good, smells good, and dependent on how you cook it, it tastes great...

It smells blooming awful thank God I am a vegetarian and don't eat it . Can't recall what it tastes like been a vegetarian over 20 years now.

Edit* harsh to receive a thumbs down for saying I am a vegetarian I don't actually preach to meat eaters.

If it's cooked with onion and a gravy added then mashed potatoes put on top and baked in the oven..... yes it's yummy.

It does if it's a savoury mince, I make a good one. Eaten with new potatoes it takes some beating. And it's not a cheap meat anymore.

yum! delicious!
now where did i put that shepherds pie....

Me, it is so versatile. Little Weed you got any spare?

If by minced beef you mean frying beef in butter and onions, then yes, I'd say it smells delicious and tastes yummy!

No am vegetarian but ma dog likes it

ewwwww no! try pounding it into burger patties! most disgusing thing i have ever done in my life.

Yes
Better than most people
Even when it is very gray the warm earthy smell is good.

Yes

i'm assuming you mean when cooked. yes, i love meat! full on carnivore here.

love it !!!!!!!!!!!!
Shepard's pie,
spaghetti bolognese
burgers
lasagna

not from a supermarket, ready minced, no.

But get the butcher to mince your a fresh piece of steak and its a whole new world.

ron c - i accidentally clicked the Report button on you - sorry - total accident, don't know how to undo it.

it does if its in a bolognse sauce or a lasagne.

Never understood the attraction.
my mam and dad have mince and mash with onions twice weekly.
she even tried to feed it to us when on holiday with them in portugal 30*c outside. yeah right mam cant we have irish stew over chips i replied.yummy

yes i can

of course it smells foul but look at the great things you can make with it, spaghetti bolognese. chilli con carn, cottage pie to name just a few. as soon as you add the other ingredients it smells great.

yes it does and its very taste belive me or not

I like it, a good lean steak mince. Especially with chopped onion, tin chopped tomatoes, 2 tblspns tomato puree, clove garlic, 1 carrot diced, 3 tblspns good red wine, 1/2 pint beef stock, 1 or 2 peppers diced, basil to taste, fried and thrown into hot pot or slow cooker in the morning for bolognaise sauce in evening. Just cook the spaghetti.

Funny you should mention it today as i`ve just made meatballs.I was thinking to myself that it smelt horrible until cooked with all the other nice things.

nope it sure doesnt!

sandwiched inbetween lasagna sheets and covered with cheese

I never touch the muck.

It should smell the same as any meat if it's fresh, if it smells dodgy then your mince is off!!! Any food tastes bland without salt or seasoning, think of unseasoned potatoes, and seriously, can anything smell more vile than boiled cabbage? That smells like a dead animal and it's vegetarian!!!
