How many calories does a guinea hen egg have?!

Question:

How many calories does a guinea hen egg have?

I bought some guinea hen eggs at a farmer's market today, and was just wondering if anyone knows how many calories each one has. I know they are technically a type of chicken, but the eggs are different, much smaller.

Answers:
Two guinea fowl eggs are equal to a large hen's egg ,taking this as 90 calories this would work out to about 45 cal /guinea egg.,g fowl eggs are hard shelled & so have a longer shelf life than hen's eggs. You are right , guines fowl ( Numida meleagris ) are a type of poultry native to several African countries ,but reared on many farms ,for two particular reasons other than egg & meat production, these birds forage for their food consuming weeds & their seeds ,worms & other insects, also they are good 'watch dogs' raising a loud shrill call,an efficient alarm, this way the guines fowl is very helpful to a farmer, This later information may be of interest to those who are not familiar with this species.

Information on calories is from Jeanette S .Ferguson's web site. I have reared guinea fowl for many years on my farm , and was pleasently surprised on a safari in Kenya to see small flock of fowl feeding in the wild.

iunno what guinea is, but a regular egg contains about 90 calories
