Question:

Tea question?????

What type of tea helps your sore throat/cough/stuffy nose??? I heard that tea is a real helper from a ton of people.. So, please share your experience.. I appreciate it. By the way, this is for my daughter who is 12.

And I heard that a lot of people drink tea when they get sick so please help me and my daughter! We are supposed to go to this family trip in a few weeks..

Answers:
you need black tea, it works better than regular, 2 bags for 1 cup of water, let it sit for 5 minutes.
get 1 whole lime cut in 4 and put it in the oven to broil for a few minutes ( while the tea rests)
add the juice of the roasted lime or lemon , all of it !! to the cup of tea
2 teaspoons of honey and drink it slowly!
If she can eat the remaining lemon peel dipped in honey would be great, it is bitter but my kids love it
The tea may make her sweat, that is normal, just try to keep her dry and warm.
something that also helps is Vic Vapor rub a bit in the chest but it works better if you massage her feet with that and while greasy put some wool or Cotton socks.
Antibiotics do not work with cold and flue because they are caused by virus and not bacteria.
some vitamin c to complement her diet , orange juice and fruit juices are the best

Any hot tea helps these symptoms if you put honey and lemon juice in it. These are the things that coat your throat and make it feel better.

You can get tea with Echinacea...its supposed to be an immunne system booster. I have some called Wellness Tea that you can find at most grocery stores.

she'll be fine in a few of weeks... instead of tea might i suggest vick vapor rub, and antibiotics. if not, i know some remeides, like honey for her throat and cough, and feed her sum jalepenoes for her runny nose, like add its as a garnish to her faovirte dish or sumthing, or put it on sum pizza.. its helps people i've told before.. got it from my mom. hope it helps ur daughter

they have some especially for that natural remady teas
right along side the other teas like throat coat
but many teas like green in themselves are good
they rid free radicals being antioxadents and all.
