Cooking supplies for a restaurant/bar?!

Question:

Cooking supplies for a restaurant/bar?

I want to open a bar within the next few years, and I was going over the stuff I would need. I know I would need to have some sort of cooking stuff in the back for stuff like french fries and and other things. I was wondering what a small bar would have in the back for cooking, and where online could I see how much stuff like this costs. If you have any info from experience or just knowledge on the topic, let me know. Thanks.

Answers:
Well, it just all depends on what you are gonna cook.

Your gonna need big deep fryers.
Sinks, brooms, mops and buckets for clean up.

To fry you might use a dry batter mix.
One that is mostly flour base for chicken. And tater logs if you want them battered.
And another that is mostly corn meal based for fish.

Whatever you do use for frying, please be sure that it is natural and not some type of man made chemical oils like Dairy Queen uses or use to use. That man made stuff can cause high pressure head aches, nose bleeds and nerve damage. And can also show up by making people sick to their stomach from eating it.

Do an online search for whole sale packaged meats, like corn dogs and chicken strips. Cheese filled jalape?o peppers and meat pies if you are going deli style.

There are also Pizza Pros that are a franchise as well as Subway Sandwiches.
There's lots of franchises if you want to go that way...

Search for frozen foods. I can't think of any of the brand names at this time.

You might want to also check into frozen dairy products like making ice cream cones, or you may just want a shake machine.

also check out ebay for some of those machine needs while shopping for your restaurant and bar.

As far as bar items, you'll have to check out the brand names I'd think for those as well.

Best of Luck!
