If bananas were orange, would you buy them?!

Question:

If bananas were orange, would you buy them?

Answers:
Yes, I would try one and if it tasted the same as, or better than, regular bananas, I'd have no problem with buying them.

I know lots of people have an issue with how a fruit or vegetable looks and I've never understood it. I've taken some agriculture courses and the single biggest marketing challenge is public stupidity. The moment they see a purple apple or an orange potato (or whatever), they refuse to buy it for a decade, EVEN if it tastes better, sweeter, etc.

There was an example of a pink-white strawberry that tasted fabulous but people wouldn't buy it because it didn't look red.

If it tastes fine and it is not spoiled, who gives a feck what it looks like? Open your mind, people.

Do you know why California strawberries look so great and taste like water? They're not fully ripened (or they would rot). They've been bred to LOOK good when not fully ripe.

(Strawberries do not ripen after picking, btw)

If they were supposed to be orange

if you mean if they have always been that way yes. but if you mean its orange when all the others are yellow then no......ew.

eewww. no!

YES!! ORANGE IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN YELLOW!!!!!!!!

Sure, I'm always up to try something new. I was a big fan of broccoliflower, or whatever that cross between broccoli and cauliflower was called.

yes, I think you should try one.

Yep, definitely..... I love bananas..... don't care what colour they are, lol. Just ate one with my lunch.... mmmmm, so yummy!

Yes

yes i don't see why not. Now if an orange was banana i might have a problem..

probably not if i already knew that they were supposed to be yellow
