A question about 'Sharon Fruit'?!

Question:

A question about 'Sharon Fruit'?

I brought some the weekend and they are going black already (in the flesh part). Are they meant to be stored at room temperature or in the fridge?

Answers:
stick to bananas, they're much more straightforward, and you can do lots with them!

Just realised that answer sounds really wrong!!! lol

when they are going black in the fresh and on the surface, it is just an indication of the sugar in the fruit has crystallized and created sweet pockets. a hardy fruit may be keep up to 10 days or will soften in room temp in 48 hours. ripe fruit can be keep in refrigerator.
