Do Grill Pans Really Grill?!

Question:

Do Grill Pans Really Grill?

because i dont have gas supply at home, only electric , is grill pan can still do a good job for making steak?

Answers:
I find it works really well when I can't grill outside. I had one of the first generation George Foreman grills that did a really good job, but it got so hard to clean that I got rid of it and got one of the new ones with removable grids. It does not get hot enough to sear a steak! What a disappoint that was. I did some research and found a reasonably priced grill pan recommended by Amercia's Test Kitchen. I've used it for steaks, burgers, pork chops and fish and have been very satisfied for over a year.

yes its will do the job

YES!! WHAT TIME IT BE READY?

Yes. Due to burn bans last summer I couldn't use an outdoor grill, so I used my grill pan on the stove. It worked so much better than broiling in the oven! Steaks, burgers, vegetables all grill up nicely in a grill pan.

Sure. Get an electric one that has high temp settings. Set it on high and grill your steak. It will create lots of smoke in your kitchen so beware. I have one made by Hamilton-Beach, it has an oil catch and is non-stick. I have used it during the hard winters in Michigan and love making grilled anything on it.

spend the mobney and get 1 and get a flat that covers 2 eyes on ya stove as well ....I would be lost without mine
